Darling Clementine

Darling Clementine has a rich, striking, sharp beauty. She is intelligent, interesting, attractive and very kind.

One of the bravest “public shooters” I know, she’s always up for a challenge. Want to take candid photos in a library? “No problem”. Sneak some daring photos in a convenience store? “Sure!”

She even snuck onstage of a live band performance once, with a pair of maracas. Slowly, step by step & before you knew it she was center stage, pretending to be one of the band members … barefoot. The band members looked around & at each other quizzically, while I furiously snapped away.

Of course the fans loved her. We made a successful exit before anybody knew what had hit them.

We’ve been shooting together for years. I first found her at a “cattle call”, auditioning to be in a calendar for a large hardware company. She showed up in a little cowgirl outfit (from goodwill), a felt hat and shiny boots (hahaha).

Over the next few years, we developed a Rockabilly persona for Darling Clementine and she wears it well.

Every time we do a shoot, every billboard, calendar, grocery pamphlet, whatever … I always believe that THIS is the one to get her noticed by somebody /anybody.

I can’t believe this girl is not famous, that the whole world is not at her feet. She’s done quite a bit of late-night commercials for an auto dealership in Las Vegas, a few other items of note, none of which has gotten her the attention I believe she merits.

So if anyone out there wants to cast her in the next blockbuster movie, I’ll make sure she gets the call!
